Hello Model Template. I purchased a template and its great. I own Photoshop and am very happy with the PSD files that come with the template. Do you have any sites that may help me in my Photoshop changes?

Ryan, if your having problems with Photoshop, know that all the templates are organized by layers. Also too, make sure when you save out your images that you compress them either using Photoshop’s “Save For The Web” function or another program that compresses images. If not, your images will be fairly large (in kb’s). Here is a pretty good article to help out. http://www.photoshopsupport.com/faq.html#totally-new-to-photoshop hope this helps.

Hello, I downloaded on of your Flash templates and see that I can’t open it in Swish. I figured that I needed Flash, but still wanted to try to use it in Swish. Is there anything I can try to use this FLA file in Swish? Are there any programs out there that can convert FLA to Swish files?

I use Flash myself so I’m not too familiar with Swish. Although I’m pretty sure you can’t convert a FLA to swi file, there might be some other methods to try. Here is a forum for you to read: http://forums.swishzone.com/lofiversion/index.php?t27415.html

Is there a way I can read PSD files without Photoshop?

I’m not for sure, but I think Gimp can read PSD files.

Awesome, thank you Blonde. It worked. I also found xnview from www.xnview.com that imports PSD files and exports as well.

There is still nothing like Photoshop. Even if you have to resort to PS Express, its a good idea to learn it, especially if you plan to dive into the Web industry. Good Luck!

How much does PS Express cost. What kind of features does it have?

Sorry I meant Photoshop Elements. I’m pretty sure Photoshop Elements still works in the native format, .PSD and 5.0 for Windows can be purchased around $40 bucks.

Thanks for the info. In comparison to Photoshop CS or whatever the newest version is how doesPhotoshop Elements add up? I’m somewhat of a penny pincher. I rarely spend much money on progrmas until I’m convinced I really need them.

I understand, I’m the same way. Here is a site I found that is selling it for really cheap. You may not get all the packaging, but thats ok. http://www.clickcooldeals.com/show_detail.php?item_id=392 . You can even look to see it on Adobe.com for the latest details. Even eBay will have older copies from people not using it anymore. Its worth a try if you don’t want to go the full blown Photoshop, but remember its limited compared to PS. It at least offers more image management than some of these open source solutions out there.

Hello,
I found your site using the Model Template search. Sure enough I found what I need through your site, a web site template for modeling. The problem is its a great site but all in Flash. Do you know someone that will be able to customize this with my images and content for a nominal price? I don’t have Flash nor do I know how to use it.
Nice site you have!
