Has a developer I’ve been seeing so many different posts about using Javascript or other elements to center a div on a screen… Let me show you a little trick
First, open a new Dreamweaver document, create an AP Div. Make it only 1px wide and 1px tall (height).
Next, make the left attribute 50% and the top attribute 50%… Now you have a centered div right?
Ok, so thats the first part. Now, your content you want to center just goes in that div, then you can visually center it (not exact) or divide the width by 2 and thats how far left and top you go…
So now your content has something to reference the center point…

It’s interesting to note the events of late. The economy that everyone is talking about is tanking further down the tubes. Observing how it effects the different industries has been interesting to say the least. Automotive is just about to get their bailout, possible stimulus down the road… Who knows what the next government interaction will be especially with Obama coming up next month.
Well, one thing for sure is we will always have the web. Web sites are the front door to companies, stores, entertainment and much more. Since there are more and more people/companies on a tight budget, many are taking on web development themselves. Although Model Template sells professional website templates (had to insert my plug somewhere) we still believe in the design/web firm that publishes some of the best websites we see throughout the web.
Freelance programmers and designers are more popular than ever. With larger web firms having $10k a month or much more just in office space, not including other bodies for production becomes quite obvious that the freelancer with less overhead can charge much less and with the tools available can still create the high quality site. However, there is much to be said about a team with talent and synergy to create a very robust site.
Although website templates can offer a professional website at a fraction of the cost, doesn’t mean it will be straight forward from there. Lets face it, a template is just that, a template. Therefore someone who may not be too strong in the design realm but excellent in the programming field can do well by taking advantage of these templates with minor aesthetic modifications to keep originality (if there is such thing on the web).
Bottom line - Keep on developing high quality sites and make the internet a better functioning and looking place for all…
Happy Building all!

Although I was a PC user back in the day when I was in the IT industry, I now find myself using a Mac. Although I didn’t care for the Mac back in OS 9 days, I find that OS X has everything I need and more, plus looks great. Even with Vista coming out I still find myself loyal to the Apple brand. How about you?
